Since the company was founded in 1988, we opened a new path in a gas-based fire extinguishing systems by manufacturing and providing HALON gas in Korea where it used to be a basic element in fire protection systems. We grew into a highly competitive group in the field of fire protection system engineering by obtaining a certificate for gas fire suppression system using the clean fire extinction agent, trifluormethane (HFC-23, CHF3), for the first time in Korea.
Based on such competence in fire protection engineering, Hanju Chemical Co., Ltd. is expanding our business to a stable field with growth potential in areas such as detectors, clean fire extinction agents, kitchen and business fire protection equipment and cabinet type auto-fire extinction devices. Also, Hanju Chemical Co., Ltd. tries our best to optimize the company values and settle a company culture that respects innovation and diversity through empirical tradition, transparent management, and talent-based management.

Also, Hanju Chemical Co., Ltd. signed the “NovecTM 1230 Memorandum of Outstanding for Developing Fire Suppression System” regarding the best ecofriendly fire extinguishing agent, with 3M (USA) in August 2013 in order to keep pace with the global trend for environmental protection. This established the first part for carrying out a fire suppression system as a future new growth business. We will establish our image as a sustainable ecofriendly company through a long term master plan and elaborate business strategy, and we will aim to develop even further as a company that customers trust and respect.
